In a few hours I will be leaving. Hard to fathom but it is true. There are actually a few people (not to mention any names) that had the nerves to say to me I believe it when I see the kids on US soil. Hm, even though I have their birth certificates, Erin has re-assured me numerous times they are coming home to me, people are still feeling insecure about by babies arrival? Whatever.. I guess they are just looking at my whole adoption journey picture of 2.5 years. Surely I won't let that take my JOY away now. The airport should be fine now, the weather looks good outside, snow is all gone. To say the least, I am soooo stressed out but sooo excited. Just writing this last post makes me shake and cry. I haven't felt this kind of excitement in a long time. I am not stressed with packing or anything, just to get to the airport and leave and make sure my plane really leaves and I am really up in the air and flying. I should get to Addis Tuesday morning and from what I understand I will have an embassy appointment the same day. Probably because people at the embassy want to go home early on the 31st.
I am scheduled to return on January 17 but it could easily be earlier. I just gave myself extra time, just in case.
Love you all so much who are following my blog and your alls support has meant the world to me over the months..
